Summer news of the eFootball.Pro League players

During this summer, some players let us know through social media what their next season will be like


Three months after the eFootball.Pro League Finals, there have been some updates and changes among the players that represented the six clubs participating in the 2018-19 eFootball.Pro League. Renewals, withdrawals… we go over the news of the summer.

EL_Matador, GoooL and MeroMen
After wide leaving the PES competitive scene, his brother Matthias Winkler (GoooL), Mehrab Esmailian (MeroMen) and Mike Linden (EL_Matador) were the three in charge of representing FC Schalke 04 last season. In June, Meromen and EL_Matador tweeted about the three of them defending the miners’ colours again this campaign, and finally at Gamescom at the end of August, the German club announced the renewal of their contract.


Alex GRD
On July 12th, Alex GRD announced on Twitter that he was leaving FC Nantes and opening the door to other clubs for the eFootball PES 2020 season. Alex was one of the top assists providers during the 2018-19 Regular League, helping his teammate Aazbabysk 9 times to score. Only FC Barcelona’s Alex Alguacil gave more assists (14) before the Finals.

Christopher
Most recently, at the end of August, Christopher posted a message on Facebook saying that, although he still had a contract with Boavista FC, he was open to exploring other options.

INDOMINATOR and E_C_Oneill
Celtic FC showed its support to players INDOMINATOR and E_C_Oneill during the summer. Yos Sonneveld (INDOMINATOR) was in the club’s festival, back in July, where he took part in the Beat the Pro challenge with fans.

On the other side, Celtic congratulated E_C_Oneill after his son was born, and joked about the kid entering the club’s esports academy.

RedMamba, Lotfi and Usmakabyle
Undoubtedly, the most successful summer professionally speaking has be Usmakabyle’s. He became 1v1 PES League champion representing AS Monaco. But he was also close to another club, together with teammate Lotfi. They were at Juventus Stadium to test eFootball PES 2020 with football legend Mauro Camoranesi.

The news of RedMamba are quite the contrary, since the player announced that he was quitting AS Monaco.

Alex Alguacil
Like INDOMINATOR, Alex Alguacil took part in some activities organised by his club, FC Barcelona. In his case, he was testing the eFootball PES 2020 demo and witnessing a PES 2019 tournament at Camp Nou during Barça’s summer tournament, the Joan Gamper Trophy.
